I really admire Miro for its sophisticated yet casual ambiance. It can be seen easily from the street side of downtown LA. It's a beautiful space that isn't too crowded or too large. The menu is absolutely spectacular with something for all types of eaters. I am considering Miro for my next birthday party!
I had the Mac and cheese with the side of Mushrooms and a margarita during week Happy Hour and it was delicious ! Service was great and the ambiance too.
I selected just one dish, but I've actually been to Miro and it's sub-level whiskey lounge several times for lunch, happy hour, dates and group events. The food selections are great. The power lunch options are sizable, reasonably priced and all tasty. I've had items from simple charcuterie boards to meatballs to fries to lasagna to steak and sea bass. All well flavored. Happy hour here is always a hit with my coworkers and friends. What really does it for me is the whiskey lounge. The staff are deeply knowledgeable and personable. They have an amazing selection, not even counting the coveted Vault, and the team is super thoughtful about helping you select something for your palette - including some bold new choices I wouldn't normally try on my own (because I wouldn't know to!)
As a carpet beggar living in the Carolinas and then Atlanta for years, it was a pleasure to find a place that complimented my meal, solidified dessert and sent me home inching for the bed. The evening in general was great, however, the idea of banana bread putting wasn't nearly as good as my palette thought it to be. Excited to nominate Miro as easily, one of my favorite West Coast vibes — you literally can't go wrong with anything (maybe the bass, but then again, I don't eat bass). Cheers to phenomenal dinning and even better whisky !!
Mac & cheese is to amazing!! Always vote for Miro for happy hour with the coworkers to take advantage of the great deals and delicious food!
I'm a lasagna fanatic and this is definitely one of the best I've had!!
Oh YUM!!! Best Mac and Cheese in DTLA
This Mac & Cheese was to die for. It's made with very rich and creamy cheese which is so hard to find lately! It comes in a hot dish and it seemed like it was fresh out of the oven! The cheese is gooey and flavorful -- this might be my new favorite mac and cheese! My friends and I shared one but we will be back to have our own soon!
fresh and tasty salad. very good quality food.
Mixed Green Salad
Loved this salad, full of colors and tastes. The seasoning was perfect as well!
Had this salad for lunch with salmon and it was so tasty. One of my new favorites. Beautifully colors, well balanced and simply delicious.
Delicious! Mouthwatering balsamic and tomato goodness served on bigger-than-expected pieces of bread. This was a hit at the table!
Pleasantly large for a happy hour menu item. The pizza was absolutely delicious and we almost ordered a second one! Our friends ended up ordering one and we all enjoyed our night out!
Nice tasty blend of cheeses, goes great with a glass of vino.
The pesto dish so so delicious! Fulfilling and hits the spot right. I had the beet salad as well which is a good combo!
I love a good Old Fashioned so I ordered this cocktail and I was blown away at how amazing it was!
The Margherita pizza was so delightful! The crust to cheese ratio was perfect with a thin, crispy, chewy crusty and abundant cheese on top. I thought it was perfectly seasoned with basil and cooked so that the tomatoes weren't soggy! Plus, it was only $8!
The house wine here was so good! I've been searching for a good house wine in the dtla area and was very impressed by Miro's. It wasn't too sweet or dry and was very easy to drink. We went for happy hour and it was only $8 a glass and totally worth it! I had two glasses of the house wine with a dish and left completely satisfied. Definitely recommend a try.
Savory flavorful down to the bun knee slappin good!
Literally just moved here two months ago from the east coast. I wanted to celebrate my move with a few new friends but didn't know where to go. Miro was suggested to me and I originally knew it was out of my budget. As a "struggling artist" you have to be very careful where you spend your money because anything can happen. However, this was one of the best experiences I've had in LA thus far. The staff was phenomenal and I didn't once feel out of place like I assumed I would. I'm grateful for the staff here and their standard of excellence. & the food? Well I'm sure you know it was excellent, worth every day. I hope to celebrate future special occasions here in the near future. Thank you for you ambiance and excellence, many years of success to you all.
